SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket Explodes After Liftoff (VIDEO)

By Rickey ·

The reusable SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket exploded today just minutes after launching. It was the first total failure for the SpaceX program.

The rocket was supposed to deliver the Dragon cargo capsule to the International Space Station. The rocket was also going to attempt another landing on a platform, but it never got to that point.

All Falcon 9 launches are suspended until the FAA finishes its investigation on what happened.
