Lorde Adorably Impersonates 'South Park' Parody of Herself - VIDEO
If you happened to catch South Park in the past two weeks, you may have noticed the show doing a parody of teenage singer Lorde -- who in the world of South Park may or may not actually be an adult male geologist.
But rather than let the parody get to her, Lorde has taken to the alternate version of herself, even embracing the fake Lorde song from the most recent episode.
Said the singer in a recent interview of her animated counterpart, "I was thinking, 'Yeah he has a mustache…I mean I have a mustache, but is it that prominent?' But it was someone’s dad pretending to be me."
"We actually, in my hotel room, went 'Ya ya ya ya ya I’m Lorde! Ya ya ya!' for like an hour, because that’s why they do on the episode."
You can watch Lorde singing the song "I Am Lorde Ya Ya Ya" above and a portion of the original version from the episode "The Cissy" (posted by Lorde herself) below.NEXT: South Park Has Kanye West Wondering if Kim K. is a Hobbit
