Sons of Anarchy - Drea de Matteo Upgraded to Series Regular for Final Season

Credit: FX

Sons of Anarchy will enter into its seventh and final season in the fall of 2014, and the cast is expanding in preparation for the tension-filled finale.

Drea de Matteo, who recurs as Jax's ex/baby mama Wendy on the FX drama, has been upgraded to a series regular for the final season. Wendy has been a fairly regular presence on the series dating back to the start, so this promotion is long overdue.

The promotion suggests that Wendy will have a more significant role in the events of the series as it heads towards its end, so let the speculation begin. However, whatever Wendy's role in the seventh season turns out to be, we won't know until Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in Fall 2014 on FX.

So what do you think Wendy's role will be in the final season? Sound off in the comments with your predictions/theories!
