Sonnet Simmons sings 'Feeling Good' on Rising Star (VIDEO)

Sonnet Simmons sang 'Feeling Good' on Rising Star The Duels on July 20, 2014. Did she beat April Lockhart?

Expert Kesha, Brad Paisley and Ludacris voted YES. I voted NO. I felt like the high notes were just so weak.

Sonnet Simmons got 73% of the vote.

"That's a gutsy song," said Brad Paisely.

"I felt like your confidence level is exponential higher," said Kesha.

Ludacris did not get an opportunity to critique due to time contraints.
