Son of Batman - Official Trailer - Video

Batman celebrates his 75th anniversary this year, which makes him kind of old to be a father. But hey, age has never stopped anyone before, least of all Batman.

The upcoming Son of Batman introduces Damian Wayne, the son Bruce Wayne never even knew he had. The animated film is adapted from Grant Morrison's 2006 comic book storyline centering on Batman's discovery of the existence of a violent, preteen son he unknowingly fathered by Talia Al Ghul. Damian, raised by the treacherous League of Assassins, has become completely uncontrollable, and it's that unruliness that drives the story, as Batman must find a way to relate to this kid he's never heard of until now. You can check out the official trailer below:

The voice cast includes Jason O'Mara (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Stuart Allan (Damian Wayne), Morena Baccarin (Talia Al Ghul), Giancarlo Esposito (Ra's Al Ghul), David McCallum (Alfred Pennyworth), Xander Berkeley (Kirk Langstrom/Man-Bat), and Thomas Gibson (Deathstroke).

Son of Batman releases this spring on DVD, Blu-ray and digital download. Yet those eager to see the finished product can see the world premiere of the film at WonderCon over Easter weekend in Anaheim, California.

I don't know about anyone else, but I think this looks absolutely fantastic. What do you think?
