'Something Rotten!' opens the Tony Awards with an incredible performance of 'A Musical' (VIDEO)

The company of Something Rotten! opened the 2015 Tony Awards with "A Musical." It was a fitting song to open the show as Nostradamus explained to Nick what a musical was.

Very meta for TV viewers and theater goers.

I think this number was perfect as an opening and a great promo for the musical at the top of the show. Well done!

Something Rotten was nominated for Best Musical.

Christian Borle (from Smash) won for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
