VIDEO: Jay Z Attacked Inside an Elevator by Sister-in-Law Solange Knowles

Jay Z was physically attacked (for unknown reasons) by Beyonce's younger sister Solange Knowles inside an elevator shortly after the Met Gala.

And it was all caught by an on-elevator security camera.

In the video above you can see Jay (in his white suit) and Solange (in her floor length gown and pixie cut) enter the elevator before Solange attacks.

She is then forcibly restrained by men who appear to be security guards.

Beyonce was reportedly with them inside the elevator at the time but did nothing to intervene.

The trio were attending an after party at the Standard Hotel in New York City when everything went down. The reason for the fight is currently unknown.

UPDATE:

Here's three more minutes of Solange attacking Jay Z just in case you wanted it.

The Standard Hotel also issued a statement which reads:

“We are shocked and disappointed that there was a clear breach of our security system and the confidentiality that we count on providing our guests. We are investigating with the utmost urgency the circumstances surrounding the situation and, as is our customary practice, will discipline and prosecute the individuals involved to our fullest capacity.”
