Solange Knowles Finally Addresses Her Physical Altercation with Jay Z

Just a mere two months ago Solange Knowles and her brother-in-law Jay Z made headlines when a video of Solange attacking Hova on an elevator leaked to the internet.

While the family made a joint statement at the time, Solange stayed decidedly mum, until now.

The younger Knowles finally talked about the incident in question (referred to as "that thing") during an interview with Lucky magazine.

As she revealed, "What's important is that my family and I are all good. What we had to say collectively was in the statement that we put out, and we all feel at peace with that."

In case your memory is foggy, the original May 15 statement read in part, "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

"At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

Added Solange in her recent interview of Bey, "We've always held each other down no matter what."

The interview can be found in the August issue of Lucky, complete with cover girl Solange.
