By Vickye ·

It was the women's turn today for the 15km Individual Biathlon at the Sochi Winter Olympics, a heated race that combined the skills of cross country skiing and of shooting targets.

GOLD: Darya Domracheva (Belarus)
Time: 43:19.6

SILVER: Selina Gasparin (Switzerland)
Time: 44:35.3

BRONZE: Nadezhda Skardino (Belarus)

All the women fought hard, and it would be a shame not to mention those who missed out on the podium - athletes from the Czech Republic, France and the Ukraine were just behind in the rankings.
