Snoop Dogg Rebrands Himself As Snoopzilla

Just one year after renaming himself Snoop Lion, Snoop Dogg is now referring to himself as Snoopzilla for his new album with Dâm-Funk entitled 7 Days of Funk.

He's basically just a Pokemon at this point. What will he evolve into next? If Reddit is to be believed his options include Snoopnado or El Snoopacabra.

Choose wisely friend.

"I've had funk influences in my music my whole career," Snoopzilla said in a recent press release. "Dâm-Funk is cold. He's keeping the funk alive and I knew I had to get down with him."

The nickname is a nod to funk bassist Bootsy Collins who once went by the name Bootzilla while recording. But Snoop has also described himself as "Godzilla flying on a pegasus" so there's that too.

He then punctuated his point by rampaging through a model of Tokyo while frightening citizens ran away from him yelling: "SNOOPZIRRA!"
