Smash - Understudy - Previews & Song
On tonight's Smash episode titled "Understudy," Uma Thurman enters as Rebecca Duvall -- a star that appears to be the perfect fit as Marilyn Monroe in Bombshell. However, her arrival is greeted to mixed reviews among the cast. Some think she will help the musical recover and reach new heights. Others, on the other hand, think this will officially sink the dying ship.
To begin with, Duvall's flight is postponed -- which forces Derek to put Karen in as her understudy. That can't bode well for the show.
Here for your viewing pleasure are a couple brand new previews for tonight's drama-packed extravaganza. In the first clip, Dev finds out about Derek sexually harassing Karen. In the second, Derek apologizes to her for what he did.
Also, there's a full studio recording of "Never Give All the Heart" by Katharine McPhee.
