Which Singers Went Home on The X Factor Australia 2014 Boot Camp? (VIDEO)
It's the start of Boot Camp for The X Factor Australia 2014, but not everyone has had luck in the competition. Sydnee Carter forgot her words, for one, while Alice Bottomley had a less than stellar audition -- not that you'd know from how the judges reacted to it. But while Boot Camp was rough going for some, it wasn't exactly a bomb for everybody. Some singers sailed through, coming one step closer to realizing their dreams. Others were put in super groups, a lifeline that could give them a new shot at going all the way in the competition. All in all, it was a pretty exciting kick-off to Boot Camp.
Well, except for some pretty huge cuts. I'm talking people who were considered frontrunners to WIN getting cut on the first day of Boot Camp. I'll avoid listing the names until after the video, which you can check out below:
So, in the event you missed all of that, some of the huge names to get cut were:
Mary Ann Van Der Horst
Justin Vasquez
Beatz (NOOOOOO!!!)
Rachael Thompson (WTF?! No, seriously, WHAT THE F***)
Julia Wu
Erin Miranda (with Justin and Mary Ann, that's three Filipino frontrunners cut!)
Tim Rossington (ALL the sadness!)
Perhaps some of these contestants will be part of the new Wildcards category that's getting implemented in both The X Factor Australia and The X Factor UK? Here's hoping.
But that leaves us with an important question: which judge will be mentoring each category? Will Redfoo have the Girls again? Will Ronan have the Boys? Will Natalie have the Groups and Dannii the Over 25s? Well, it's unlikely all four categories will repeat from last season, but you'll have to check out the video below to find out for sure:
So what do you think of some of these choices? Sound off in the comments!
