'The Sing-Off' renewed for Season 5

NBC has renewed 'The Sing-Off' for a fifth season. Casting is currently underway.

THR reports that the series will be a holiday event (just like it was during Season One). No word yet on how many episodes. The Sing-Off aired almost daily for three weeks during its first season.

Also, no word yet on the judges. Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds have been on the panel for all seasons and so has host Nick Lachey. Nicole Scherzinger, Sara Bareilles and Jewel have been the third judge through the years.

I'm personally looking forward to this. This is one of my favorite shows, and a short "holiday season" is perfect.
