Simon Fuller to manage Lewis Hamilton's career

Oh how exciting! My worlds are converging!

I wonder what implications this has on Lewis Hamilton's girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger who is rumored to be judging X Factor -- competition to Simon Fuller's American Idol.

From USA Today:

Lewis Hamilton ended his yearlong search for a manager Monday by signing up with the entertainment executive who oversees David Beckham's career ahead of the new Formula One season.

XIX Entertainment's Simon Fuller replaces Hamilton's father Anthony, who was dropped by the 2008 world champion ahead of a lackluster 2010 season.

"It was important I took my time to make this decision as it had to be right for my career and my long-term future," the McLaren driver said in a statement.
