Simon Cowell to return to Britain's Got Talent semi-finals

Time to inject some credibility back to the show that discovered Susan Boyle, after viewers gave David Hasselhoff a lukewarm reception.

Well, Simon Cowell should have known his UK shows would suffer because of the US X Factor. Maybe this will fix Britains' Got Talent for a bit - but the bigger problem is the judge panel on the UK X Factor.

The music mogul – who quit the UK X Factor with Cheryl Cole to focus on the American version of the talent show - will judge the live stages of the ITV1 programme alongside current panellists Amanda Holden, Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff.

ITV confirmed: 'Simon Cowell will return for the Britain's Got Talent semi-finals, starting Monday 30 May.'

Amanda, who has been on the panel for longer than Michael and David, recently admitted she has felt like the main judge after Simon skipped the audition stages.
