Simon Cowell Named in Andrew Silverman's Divorce Papers
Does Simon Cowell have a fresh scandal to worry about? Following reports that Simon fathered a baby with his friend's wife, said friend, Andrew Silverman, has named him in his divorce papers.

The New York Post reveals that Andrew quietly filed divorce papers in NYC two weeks ago; citing adultery, Andrew even names the British TV star and producer, 53, as a co-respondent in the papers. This means that Cowell -- who was photographed for the first time since the news broke in L.A. late Wednesday -- could be called to the witness stand and detail his relationship with NYC socialite Lauren, 36, and even reveal his finances."It's really a signal to the spouse who cheated that the wronged spouse is very angry and that it's going to be a very nasty, scorched-earth, high-profile litigation," divorce attorney Martha Cohen Stine explained to the Post. Cowell and the Silvermans were a happy trio back in January 2012, when they were all photographed kicking back on a yacht during a St. Barth's vacation.Andrew's brother, Alexander Silverman, tells the Post: "It is an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story."The paper goes on to cite other sources who insist that Andrew and Lauren "weren't estranged" when Lauren and Cowell's relationship began.
Yikes. It doesn't seem like Simon planned for this nasty turn of events. Hopefully he'll release a statement soon.
