Simon Cowell Brokered Piers Morgan CNN Deal - Piers to replace Larry King?

Did Simon Cowell just confirm that Piers Morgan is Larry King's replacement on CNN? In an interview with Extra's Terri Seymour, he seems to be.

"[Morgan] was under contract to us on 'America's Got Talent,' so he called me and we helped sort of broker the deal," Cowell said. "I knew about this weeks ago."

Simon also says that the "hot rumor" to replace him on American Idol is Harry Connick, Jr.
