Simon Cowell - Britney Will Surprise You - Video

Simon Cowell says that everyone who predicted a Britney Spears train wreck on The X Factor is going to be "surprised."  He also talks about the hosting situation, but doesn't confirm anything.

In this interview with Extra, Simon promises that we are going to "see a part of Britney that we didn't know existed."  He also says that he knew from the time he spent with Britney on the phone working out the deal with her that she wasn't going to be the train wreck everyone was predicting.  Simon actually seems quite fond of Britney in the way he talks about her in this video.

He also confirms that both Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez are "in the mix" for the hosting gig.  And of course he takes some time to plug the new X Factor headphones by Sony.

I'll admit to being one of those people who thought Britney would equal train wreck, but she has seemed pretty with it in most of the interviews and promo videos leading up to the Wednesday premiere of the series, so maybe Simon knew what he was doing after all.
