Okay, so I actually missed Constantine.

I think the Scott threat is very real as the producers placed Bo and Carrie in the coveted end positions, while placing Scott (and Anthony) in the beginning. They are playing favorites from here on, I don't think they want anything to threaten their Bo-Carrie final.

Anthony was not so good for his first song, but he totally made up for it on his second song, Incomplete by the Backstreet Boys. It was perfect and Simon agreed. Anthony was singing to us fans and we know it! There was something just magical about his face when he sang it. We're rooting for you Anthony! Everybody vote! Vote! Vote!

We also now know that Paula and Randy love Scott Savol. Scott is already picking his song for next week so it seems that he has struck a deal with Paula similar to the Corey Clark controversy. Stayed tuned. Idol just found their Omarosa of the season. Scott will be back next week.

Vonzell. Pandered to the United States Postal Service. Is there a postal service vote? OMG! What if? What if there was a UPS and FedEx vote? That would be awesome. I love my UPS and FedEx delivery guys. I should post pictures... these guys in their delivery trucks, uniforms and shorts here in New York are something else... whew! But I digress...

Bo and Carrie were of course universally praised as professional, knowing what songs to sing, are stars, etc. They have record contracts waiting. It's a shame really. I press the redial button as I type this knowing that in the end, it really doesn't matter now. They are going to try their best to make Carrie sing songs that are "perfect" for her to justify her winning. I think she has enough fans as well to pull it through. I think for the first time Idol has someone who "looks" and "sounds" like the American Idol and I don't think they will let go of that this year.

Update: 1-866-IDOLS-01 Busy for 40 minutes now... the only time I got a vote in was at 8:59 (following the Constantine fan technique) and that's it! Of course, as soon as I type this, I get through... wait, busy again...
