Sherlock - Series 3 - Official Launch Trailer - Video

Has Watson truly "got on" with his life in the two years following Sherlock's "death"? And why did Sherlock Holmes fake his death anyway? These are the burning questions raised by the launch trailer for Sherlock Series 3.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman both return in fine form, as evidenced by the trailer below. It's rare that a show packs this much tease-worthy footage into a single minute. Of course, the less I say about it, the better. Just watch the full trailer below and whet your appetite! (Seriously, a healthy Sherlock appetite never hurt anyone)

Series 3 of Sherlock, airing in three parts, will be broadcast on BBC One in the UK on January 1st, 5th and 12th. In the US, the series begins on January 19th on PBS.
