Shelley Smith - Alone - The X Factor UK - Video

Shelley Smith sang “Alone” on The X Factor UK 2013 Live Show 1.

I thought Shelley did an admirable job with one of the more overdone song on reality singing competitions. Given how often "Alone" is done, it can be difficult to really make it your own. Of course, the bigger problem with the song is that it neutralized much of the sassiness that makes Shelley such an engaging personality. It wasn't my favorite vocal from Shelley, but it was by no means bad. It's simply that Shelley is capable of much better.
