Sharon Osbourne Wants The X Factor UK Job Back

Sharon Osbourne has said she wants back on The X Factor UK as a judge.  Osbourne will be making an appearance on the show this season with her old pal Louis Walsh, but reportedly wants to return to the series full time next year.

Osbourne, who reportedly left her gig with America's Got Talent due to perceived mistreatment of her son Jack by NBC, has told The Daily Star that she wants her old job on The X Factor UK back.

Sharon left the series in 2008 amidst rumors of a feud with former judge Dannii Minogue and producer Simon Cowell.  Osbourne had previously nixed the idea of ever returning to the show, but says that thanks in part to Cowell's compassionate response to her son Jack's MS diagnosis, she has patched things up with Simon and now says while the two still "bicker like family," she would love a chance to work with Simon again.

Sharon told The Daily Star, “I would love to come back to X Factor.  “I want to come back to England and I want to come back to X Factor. I’m not ­happy to be back, I am ecstatic to be back.”

Even if the UK show decides to replace Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon is by no means guaranteed the job, as former Spice Girl Melanie Brown has also been rumored to be vying for the job.

I actually think Nicole has done a better than expected job so far on The X Factor UK, but it seems likely we'll see a new judge next season.  Who would you rather have?  Sharon or Mel B?
