By Noelle ·

Sharknado 2: The Second One is coming at you sooner than you expected!

Well, one day sooner. But still! How exciting!

And apparently, this time, the shark is taking out the Statue of Liberty as seen in this new official poster for the sequel.

The SyFy original movie will now be premiering on July 30th at 9/8c.

Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will both reprise their roles to try and save New York City!
A freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites – and only Fin (Ziering) and April (Tara Reid) can save the Big Apple.
Viewers can expect to see Kelly Osbourne, Mark McGrath, Andy Dick, Viviva A. Fox, Judah Friedlander, and Judd Hirsch.
