Seth MacFarlane never wants to host The Oscars again

Hosting the Oscars has long been Hollywood's most thankless task. I really can't remember any host getting universal praise, in recent years. A person is usually either the worst host in history, or they're merely a serviceable contributor, deserving of a pat on the back for an okay job, but not much else.
Seth MacFarlane knows this better than most. The host of Sunday's Academy Awards telecast took to Twitter to address whether he'd ever host again if offered the opportunity.
RT @crusephoto: @sethmacfarlaneWould you host the #Oscars again if asked? // No way.Lotta fun to have done it, though.

He then elaborates on his reasons by drawing a parallel to the impossible test from Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan, since Seth MacFarlane loves Star Trek nearly as much as he loves esoteric pop culture references:
The Oscars is basically the Kobayashi Maru test.

I do feel somewhat bad for MacFarlane, as the Academy has way bigger problems, internally, than the telecast itself. However, from these tweets, it would seem that MacFarlane recognizes that, when it comes to hosting the Academy Awards, you can't win for losing (as the old expression goes, leaving me to wonder just who the hell was in charge of expressions back in the day).
