Selena Gomez Cancels Australian, Asian Tour

Selena Gomez has canceled her tour in Asia and Australia to give herself some me time.

All in all Gomez axed 13 shows (in Japan, South-East Asia and Australia) today (Dec. 20) from her Stars Dance tour, saying that she was overworked and needed to focus on herself for a little bit.

As she revealed in a statement, "My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them."

"But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be. To my fans, I sincerely apologize and I hope you guys know how much each and every one of you mean to me."

Several sources have jumped in to say that Gomez is not having a breakdown (because of course they have) but merely wants to spend time with her family.

This was supposed to be Gomez's first tour in Australia, which would have started mid-January in Asia and ended on February 8.

Refunds will of course be honored.
