Pop starlet Selena Gomez recently took to her official twitter account to make a big announcement to fans; The Stars Dance World Tour launches this August in Vancouver! The tour will take place over the course of several months, coming to a close mid-November in St. Louis. Gomez, hot off the release of her latest single "Come and Get It," performed the hit at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards. Her upcoming album, which is as of yet untitled, also marks the debut of Selena as a solo artist, breaking from her longtime bandmates The Scene. According to Hitfix, The Spring Breakers star names the film's score composer, Skrillex, as an influence as she heads in a new direction musically.
