Scott MacIntyre getting married on August 18

Scott MacIntyre is getting married to Christina Teich on August 18 in Scottsdale, AZ. They got engaged last February.

Scott wrote or recorded all the music that will be used during the ceremony. I Wanna Be There, a new song that Scott wrote and recorded for the wedding will be made available on iTunes that day.

"Christina is a beautiful person, whom I have known since well before Idol," Scott said in a press release about the wedding. "She is my soul mate and the best way I know how to express my feelings for her is with a special song for this special day. I Wanna Be There is about staying committed to someone through happiness, sorrow, tears and laughter. That's the relationship we have, and I'm excited to share the song at our wedding."

Scott and Christina will honeymoon in Kauai.
