Scott Bakula To Star In 'NCIS: New Orleans'

NCIS has found the star of its latest spin-off series. Scott Bakula is set to star in NCIS: New Orleans. The former Quantum Leap star will be appearing in the lead role.

The two-part pilot is set to air in the Spring.

Scott Bakula will play NCIS Special Agent Pride, who embodies everything about New Orleans. His character is described as a unique federal agent who oversees the NCIS cases in the Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana region.

I think Scott is perfect for the role. He's familiar, talented, and possesses a warm smile that I think will cause audiences to fall in love with him just like with Mark Harmon.

NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg and star Mark Harmon will executive produce the spinoff.

What do you think of this choice? Is this spin-off too much?
