'Scandal', 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Revenge' and More Renewed by ABC

The renewal announcements are continuing to roll in! And this time, it's ABC that's getting in on the action.

The network has officially renewed six dramas: Sunday night mainstays Once Upon A Time and Revenge will be getting their fourth seasons with this renewal, while freshman drama Resurrection has earned itself a second season. Meanwhile, Castle has scored a seventh season renewal, while the Shonda Rhimes-produced dramas Scandal and Grey's Anatomy have also been renewed.

All told, that's six dramas renewed for the 2014-2015 broadcast season. However, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is conspicuously absent from the list. Once one of the frontrunners for renewal, the show has dropped off a bit in profile. Could the series end up canceled? Or is ABC simply waiting to see how this week's season finale does before making a decision? Nashville is also missing from this list, as that show has also had an up-and-down season. I suppose we'll find out which shows advance to next season soon enough, as more renewal and cancellation notices file in.

UPDATE: ABC has officially confirmed over Twitter that Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has been renewed, in addition to freshman comedy The Goldbergs. Also, the network has issued a press release declaring that Marvel spinoff Agent Carter, starring Captain America's Hayley Atwell, has been ordered to series.

Also renewed for the fall, in the biggest no-brainer of all-time, is Emmy juggernaut Modern Family, which has earned a sixth season on ABC. But even with all these renewals, there are plenty of new shows headed to the network for 2014-2015.

In addition to Agent Carter, ABC has picked up four other new series for the fall. Here are the full details on the shows below via the official press release:

UPDATE: TWO MORE NEW SERIES PICKED UP

Two of the new shows include the hotly-anticipated My Fair Lady remake, Selfie, featuring Doctor Who / Oculus / Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan.

Manhattan Love Story: A single-camera laugher described as this: Have you ever wondered what your date was thinking? This romantic comedy exposes the differences between men and women through the unfiltered thoughts, and often contradictory actions, of a new couple who have just begun dating.

Selfie: “Instafamous” Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) has 263,000 followers who hang on to her every post, tweet and selfie. But one lonely day she has a revelation: being friended is not the same as having actual friends. She asks marketing guru Henry (John Cho) to ‘rebrand’ her self-obsessed reputation and teach her how to connect with people in the real world. Loosely based on My Fair Lady, Selfie explores the modern struggles of Eliza and Henry, as he tries to teach her how to live life offline—whether she ‘likes’ it or not.

Reportedly, ABC has made all the announcements it's going to make tonight. This leaves the fates of such on the bubble shows as Nashville, Suburgatory, and Trophy Wife in limbo until tomorrow, at the earliest.
