Sasha and Malia Obama Stun At White House Rose Garden While President Pardons Turkey
President Barack Obama saved Honest and Abe, two 18-week old 40-pound turkeys, from the slaughterhouse on Thanksgiving.
"Abe is now a free bird," the President said (via CBS) waving his hand at the bird. "He is TOTUS - the turkey of the United States." Honest did not attend.
First daughters, Sasha and Malia, were with the president and he thanked them for joining him.
I love their outfits! They are growing up so fast! Will miss this family so much when they leave the White House next year.
