Sarah Palin Defends 'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson
Following the controversial remarks of Phil Robertson of the hit A&E reality series Duck Dynasty, it seems like everyone that's ever seen an episode is weighing in.
The latest to do so is Sarah Palin. I was really hoping to hear her thoughts on the subject, weren't you?
Phil recently came under fire for making a bunch of ignorant anti-gay comments in a recent GQ Interview."It seems like, to me, a vagina -- as a man -- would be more desirable than a man’s anus." "That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”The comments resulted in several statements from GLAAD as well as Phil's suspension from the show by A&E. Now, Sarah Palin is defending the reality star by claiming the free speech is an endangered species.
"Free speech is endangered species; those 'intolerants' hatin' & taking on Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing personal opinion take on us all," she tweeted.Sigh.
Why isn't anyone talking about the other comments Phil made in the interview as well?
So disappointing.
