Sarah Michelle Gellar Sleeps With a Stake and Holy Water (Really)

Proving that she will never not be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sarah Michelle Gellar admitted on Reddit that she sleeps with a loaded stake next to her bed.

Loaded with holy water of course.

When asked by fans during her AMA (Ask Me Anything) if she kept anything from her slaying days, Gellar responded, "Aside from her wardrobe? I think my favorite is that my makeup artist had made a special stake for me with a little bottle of holy water, and to this day I keep it by my bed."

Sorry vampires, SMG is never off duty.

Even more shocking though, when asked if she's Team Angel or Team Spike the actress responded in all caps, "ANGEL." And when prompted again answered, "Still Angel."

You're not gonna win this one Spuffy fans, Gellar is team Bangel.

As for her favorite episodes of the series, those include "The Prom," "Hush" (the all silent episode) and "The Body" (which follows perhaps the most devastating character death in the series).

Said Gellar of "The Body," "I don't know if many people know this, but my entire first scene was all done in one take. It was 4-5 minutes of one long take."

Perhaps even more interesting than all that though, if the show ever makes it to Broadway she wants Buffy to be played by Kristin Chenoweth. We would watch that so hard!
