Sanjaya Malakar - You Really Got Me - Revisited

It's been a while since we posted about Sanjaya Malakar, so why not relive the good old days? (What? The good old days already?) Here's Sanjaya's "You Really Got Me" performance which lit the world on fire. Included is the "subtle" introduction of Ashley Ferl, and the ratings gold moments that followed. Peter Noone told Sanjaya to just "let go" -- and it's undoubtedly the best advice Sanjaya ever got on the show. Sanjaya followed it, and "You Really Got Me" catapulted him to Idol superstardom. I'm sure Fox will try their best, but we may never see a performance like this on Idol ever.

You can catch reruns of American Idol Season 6 on Fox Reality Channel.
