ok, so my day started out EARLY. my butt was out of bed at 6am, so i could get downtown to meet up with purple rain from IDF boards. things start to go wrong when i miss my bus TWICE while getting money out of the bank machine. i finally get to the subway to catch the streetcar 15 minutes later, THE PLACE IS PACKED! it's now 9:25,a nd i'm not close to where i'm supposed to be. i get back on the train and go further south, get off, streetcar it, and finally get to the hostel to meet up with purple rain at 9:45am. we meet up, and go and look for lou's hotel. it's about 10 minutes up the street. i called earlier to see if i could get lou, but the lady on the other end must thought i was speaking yiddish. didn't get through. get to the hotel, and try again, this time we get through! so lou comes down a few minutes later, and we all embrace. we go back up to her room, and dammit, lou is ALL PREPARED for this concert! i was shocked!

oh, and what i forgot to mention was that this morning before i left was when i decided to check if my camera was working. it acted all weird on me during my vacation, so i brought a spare camera. because nature likes to play jokes on me, both the good camera AND the spare BOTH STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY! yes, BOTH. i cussed, lol.

so anyway, lou, valerie and i set out to go to best buy to get a new spanking camera. i got the lovely canon PS S5 and memory cards to go with it. it cost my firstborn, but i like to go all out when it comes to cameras! mr. mastercard will seek revenge later. so i go to get a bag to put it in, and the employee wants to go all smartass on us saying that he doesn't like american idol, especially sanj. AHOLE. i said to him to just give me my things, but this idgit proceeds to run his mouth. we get our stuff and keep walking. he's lucky i was in a good mood.

we went shopping for some balls to give to sanjaya and the guys to throw around. we go to the eaton centre and end up getting them at canadian tire near the best buy, lol. the running joke was that we were going to buy sanjaya's balls, LMAO!!! i'm not gonna say who came up with THAT ONE, snort!
