My American Idol Concert Report. From Sunrise, Florida Bank Atlantic Center By: Sanjfan16Ok, so I was so excited about seeing Sanjaya in concert that I stayed up the whole night on Thursday listening to Sanjaya’s songs, and watching his performances over and over again. I couldn’t stop thinking of Sanjaya, and how exciting it will be to see him in concert tomorrow. I have been counting down the days to this concert ever since Sanjaya made it to the top 10. So Friday comes, and I spend the whole day getting ready for the concert. It took me about four hours to take a shower, do my hair, and my makeup. I was wearing two shirts, one was an orange tank top, and then I had a Sanjaya shirt that I made but it was way to hot in there to wear it. lol I didn’t even eat because I was way to excited to see Sanjaya. We left the house at 5:20 pm, and got there at 5:40 pm. The place wasn’t too crowded when we got there. We had a close parking spot. I was really excited when I was standing outside of the bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, and they were playing all of the idol music. I was really excited when I heard them play parts of songs of Sanjaya. This was the best feeling ever!!!!!
The people that I seen were mostly Jordin, Gina, Chris R, Blake, and Lakisha fans. There were a good number of Fanjayas in there, but not as many as I would have expected. There were a few people wearing orange shirts. So I noticed them right away. I didn’t see anyone really with a homemade Sanjaya shirt on or nothing. There was nobody with a pony hawk, or any kind of Sanjaya hairstyle. I was very devastated about that. The people in the audience did cheer for Sanjaya, but it wasn’t as loud as the cheers for Jordin, Blake, Lakisha, and Chris R. I was screaming like crazy when Sanjaya came to sing, and my throat hurts a little bit now from it..lol The opening number was a group thing and they were singing Lets Get It Started. Then Sanjaya sang a solo which was a Michael Jackson song but I don’t know the name of it.. He did a really good job with it too. I loved it soo much, and he is a great performer!!! Then he sang a duet with Melinda.. I really enjoyed that performance a lot. Then all of the boys sang in the American Idol band, and it was a mixture of different songs, and Sanjaya was playing the tambourine, and the guitar. He is a really good guitar player.. I loved that performance a lot too. Then Sanjaya came out in a group performance singing Life Is A Highway. I love that song a lot, so hearing him sing it in the group was really amazing. He did a great job singing, and performing all of these songs!!! I loved it a lot.Sanjaya wore his hair straight, and then natural the rest of the show.
What Sanjaya was wearing was a purple shirt, and jeans, then a white jacket, and a red shirt, and then he had a t-shirt on, and jeans, and at the end they all were wearing white.
The show was pretty much full. I would have thought that all of the seats would have been taking since it was the very first show. Most of the fans in there were wearing regular clothes that had nothing to do with the American Idols or nothing. I seen some people wearing shirts that they bought from the concert. A few girls sitting next to me were Jordin, and Gina fans, and they had their own made shirts of them, and a poster of them that they made. I really enjoyed the show soooo much!!! Seeing Sanjaya sing live was totally amazing.. The best part is that I met Sanjaya. It was soo amazing!! We took pictures together, and he gave me three hugs. I will tell you more about it in a few days..
