Sanjaya Malakar - State of Independence Tour

Sanjaya Malakar and I in front of the Times Square Theater after the State of Independence Tour performance.

So happy to see Sanjaya again! He told me he might move to New York in September with his band. This whole tour has been a huge learning experience for him. Hope he can put it to good use in the future! Go indie bands!

While we were chatting, someone recognized him while asking us for directions. He couldn't believe it was really Sanjaya, so Sanjaya had to show him ID. That was cute.

Sanjaya and his band will be in New York until Monday and they move on to Indianapolis for the next leg of the tour.
