Sanjaya Malakar on Larry King Live

Teen Pop Sensation Sanjaya Malakar was the guest of Larry King along with the other American Idol finalists -- yes, you can skew the copy that way, the Larry King staff was doing it all throughout the evening promoting "Sanjaya and the rest of the Finalists" and having him appear all over the program either in clips or the interview itself.

What was surprising was Blake Lewis when asked about the "Sanjaya Phenomenon" -- I think he didn't expect those words to be used, and had to begrudging admit that Sanjaya was indeed a phenom.

Nothing personal to these guys, but I felt a bit of resentment. Which I cannot completely blame them for since they are trying to build their own careers, and yet all the media wants to know is how they felt about Sanjaya, even Larry King one of the most respected talk show hosts.

Thank you Shyamali and cousin for dragging Sanjaya along with you to audition.

Go Sanjaya!
