Sanjaya Malakar - Live on Regis and Kelly

First of all, Teen Pop Sensation Sanjaya Malakar is more beautiful in real life than on TV. Simply, un-real.

I now completely understand why Sanjaya almost got a free pass in Hollywood into the Top 24 -- he's just too good for American Idol to pass up. I would even go on to say that his TV appearances and pictures don't do him any justice. If you get a chance to see Sanjaya in one of his media gigs or on tour this Summer, go -- he is simply amazing.

So I waited for Sanjaya outside of the ABC studios and was a bit disappointed that not too many Fanjayas showed up -- actually, cancel that, there were Fanjayas, but we were completely overwhelmed by the rude paparazzi. They were awful. I think this kind of mob scene has been greeting Sanjaya for a few days now and his handlers are getting quite annoyed. That blonde lady who always accompanies the Idols to these gigs even told the crowd to be nice or they would leave.

Another unfortunate thing I witnessed was the driver of Sanjaya's ride badmouthing him to someone while we were waiting for Sanjaya to come out. That was so rude. He was pretty much saying that Sanjaya didn't deserve the attention he was getting and owes it all to Howard Stern. And he's driving this kid around New York now -- at least have a bit more respect. Showbiz is tough what can I say. It's sprinkled with all these assholes.

Finally, I met some Fanjayas which was great. Thanks to Jamie, Shannon, Tolen, Elizabeth and unknown girl for carrying the torch of the Universe of Sanjaya in New York City. Wasn't Sanjaya awesome? I didn't want to cry in front of you guys because it might have been too embarrassing. Haha.

I wasn't able to get a picture with Sanjaya, oh well. Incentive to come see him when I get a chance in the future. I did wave while the car going away -- Shyamali was in it -- maybe he recognized me. (I wish.)

Sigh. 17. One more year. Hahaha. Go Sanjaya!
