Torch Report from SecretivePlease and Blackraven at dazeoffire:
Hi you guys! Sorry to have been out of touch last night; I was extremely tired after all the excitement of the concert and whatnot. Well, we arrived around 5:30 and these two older Chris Sligh fans started walking around with us trying to find where we were supposed to go in to use our club arena passes. So, finally we found it, and me and my sister went to buy one of the American Idols Live Tour 2007 booklets (which, by the way, were not cheap!). Anyway, so the two ladies were still sitting with us, and they saw my Fanjaya shirt, and they started asking if I had a crush on Sanjaya. And I said, "Not REALLY, I just like his music. But it doesn't hurt that he's adorable." And then they started giggling to each other and looking at me. ANYWAY, in the other side of the room was a grown couple and they both had on orange 'Sanjaya' shirts on! The lady was wearing hers proudly, but the guy was kind of trying to hide his. Heh.
Anyway, everything about the concert was amazing, but especially Sanjaya's song. As soon as it was Sanjaya's turn, I started walking towards the front and ended up about twelve rows closer than where I was..and sitting next to Blackraven. Lol. So, Sanjaya got a LOT of cheers! Possibly more than about seven of the other contestants! :]Then, after the show, I got to MEET him (and the others). They were all INCREDIBLY nice! And I realized that they are just people, just like you and I. Melinda was so silly and funny, and she started doing a mini can-can dance with her 'mommy' !! So, finally, after avoiding him for the first ten minutes, I went over to Sanjaya and stood in line waitng for my turn. And waiting. And waiting. And waiting. You see, I'm not an agressive person. And Mamajaya realized that, so she came over and started talking to me. And she pushed through and told Sanjaya that I'd been waiting very patiently. So, I finally got there. And Sanjaya and I talked for a bit. And I gave him the letter from YOU guys!! (And told him not to open it till he got on the bus.) So, for all of you who wrote in that thirty minute topic, YOUR letters have OFFICIALLY been given to SANJAYA! Aaah! :]
Anyway, after that, I was run over by more screaming fangirls, so I left and basically talked to Chris Richardson for the last ten or fifteen minutes, hah. He was VERY charismatic, as were they all. :] Then again, I'm sure they've had practices on how to interact with fans. Basically, Sanjaya was the most popular there and was once again the last one to leave! Mamajaya was VERY sweet, and I have a new found respect for Chris Richardson. :] For all of you nervous, DON'T worry! :] Cheers! Oh, and if you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
