Sanjaya Malakar and Puppyjaya at Borders

Sanjaya Malakar was at a book signing at Borders in the Time Warner Building last Friday.

Geez. It looked like I just woke up -- which is exactly what happened. LOL Even if my sleeping cycle is all crazy these days, I somehow managed to go to Columbus Circle for the Sanjaya Malakar book signing. I was like one of the last in line. I met two Fanjayas who were meeting Sanjaya for the first time which is always great to see.

When I got to the singing table, Sanjaya signed my book and I asked him about the dog he held on Good Morning America. "Oh you mean this dog?" And then he showed me the puppy under the table in its "puppy bag". Omigosh! Puppyjaya! His name is Luciano -- which incidentally was one of the names Momjaya considered for Sanjaya (LOL -- Luciano Malakar). The puppy is a cross between a French bulldog and something that has a rough coat.

I thought Momjaya looked stunning.

I'm arranging an interview with Sanjaya on Rickey TV hopefully next week, so please stay tuned!
