Sanjaya Malakar and Melinda Doolittle - Tampa, FL - American Idol Tour

Teen Pop Sensation Sanjaya Malakar and Melinda Doolittle in a HOT number from the American Idol tour. I'm so happy now. Glad that Melinda is publicly embracing Sanjaya, and no more "I don't know if he can sing" looks, jokes, or whatever it was she was doing months ago. I think it's absolutely true that they had no idea how huge Sanjaya was while they were on the show that's why their comments seemed a bit off. But hopefully now it's all better.

These are pics from the Tampa Bay Times, plus a SPOILER from TeanZane.

Plus! New entry from Momjaya at dazeoffire. Go Sanjaya!

Hello Fanjayas!!! Well we made it through the first show. It was awesome. Despite some sound issues ( which included Sanjayas mic not being turned up ) the show was overall a success. Sanjayas duet with Melinda is amazing. She really brings him out vocally and he's stepping up to the challenge. Really fun to watch. His solo of Michael Jacksons "The way you make me feel" is allowing him to bring out the entertainer in him. Lots of cool dance moves and great vocals. Overall the show is very entertaining. Very different from previous years, with the boys having their own band (Sanjaya plays rhythm guitar and tamborine). Lots of different combos of duets, group songs and medleys. I think you will enjoy what you see. Well the bus has arrived at the venue. Got to go and see whats on the agenda! Talk to all of you again soon Jill
