Samsung Galaxy Note Edge First Impressions (VIDEO)

Samsung announced the Galaxy Note Edge today alongside the new Note 4. The Edge is exactly the same as the Note 4 except for the curved edge on the right side which displays additional information for Android users.

Technology blogger Marques Brownlee gives us a surprise first impression look at the strange new device.

I personally like the look. I think the "edge" could see a lot of uses as a "second screen" on your smartphone.

In fact, if you think about it, the new smartwatches are "second screens" -- so adding a bit of real estate space on your phone for some quick tasks seems like a natural extension. (I cannot work without two monitors these days for example, plus my iPad and phone... so many screens, it's all good.)
