Sam Smith sings 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' and I'm crying. Why? I have no idea.

This is supposed to be a festive song I know, but somehow, Sam Smith's torch song rendition in this official video is making me so emotional. Like he is telling me to be happy and yet he's so sad! I cannot be happy if he's sad. :(

At any rate... it works. He forced an emotional response from me, if that was the intent.

But you know what really makes me happy and sad and festive at the same time? Mariah Carey singing 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' in 2014 and beyond.
