Salem - Official Trailer - Video

Cable channel WGN America is experimenting with original content. The network has plans to release their first original scripted series. Salem, the original drama series, is set in 17th century Massachusetts. It will explore the now infamous with trials that took place there. The witches are real, but not what they seem.

The tagline for the series is "Sorcery. Idolatry. Sensuality. Lies. Fear. Welcome to Salem 1692."

Sounds interesting! We need a good show that handles witches properly.

Salem stars Seth Gabel, Shane West, Ashley Madekwe, Xander Berkeley, Tamzin Merchant and Elise Eberle.

Unfortunately for me, my cable company doesn't carry this channel. It looks perfect for The CW. If the first trailers are anything to go by, this is an interesting show to check out.

Salem premieres Sunday, April 20th, on WGN America.
