Sailing - Men's Laser - London 2012 Olympics - Results
It was the men's turn to take to the lake in the Men's Laser event at the London 2012 Olympics. Once again the battle against the wind and choppy water was a tough one, but these guys are the best.
Here are your medal results:
Much like the women's event, the Men's Laser involves a small one person sail boat. The Laser is a bit larger than the Laser Radial that the women sail.
Simon Groteluschen of Germany had a near perfect run, incurring only two points in penalties and coming away with the gold medal. An enthusiastic crowd roared on team GB to a bronze medal finish. These guys really had their work cut out with the windy conditions on the lake today. Great job guys!
Results:
Gold: Simon Groteluschen - Germany
Silver: Alejandro FOGLIA COSTA - Uruguay
Bronze: Paul Goodison - Great Britain
Congratulations to all the medalists!
