S Club 7 is Reuniting for Tour and Albums!
OMG. Anyone remember S Club 7? It feels like centuries ago, but it looks like the pop diva group will be back for a series of UK appearances and two albums! OK, seriously, who just wet themselves?!
The group rose to fame after starring on Miami 7. They were the brain child of Mister Simon Fuller himself. I suppose with One Direction making a huge splash here in the US, it makes sense for a reunion right now.
They've signed a seven-figure deal to tour this summer, as well as put together two albums. OMG.
From The Mirror:
A source tells me: “The guys have been inundated with approaches and offers over the past three years, but always said no.“But following a series of talks and meetings, they decided to go for it.”
My insider adds: “What with the Olympics coming up and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert, there’s a real British feelgood factor at the moment.
"The band figured it was a case of now or never. And if the gigs go well there is the option to release a new album, plus a Greatest Hits.
“Everyone is really excited – and frantically getting back in shape.”
