Ryan Seacrest to Host 'Fashion Rocks' on CBS

Ryan Seacrest has finally done it. He's sealed a deal with CBS that now makes him TV's only host with a deal on all four major broadcast networks.

Seacrest has signed on to host and executive-produce Fashion Rocks, a two-hour, live primetime Fashion Week special, for CBS. This CBS deal goes along with his American Idol hosting gig on FOX (which has just been extended into 2015), his deal hosting New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC, and his deal to produce/host various specials for NBC and its cable network, E! Network. Seacrest has also renewed his deal with NBCUniversal to continue covering major awards show red carpets through 2015. In short, Seacrest has a lot on his plate, to the extent that he just might be the hardest-working man in showbiz. Or at least the busiest.

As for Fashion Rocks, the two-hour, live primetime special will air this September during New York Fashion Week. No word on what the show will actually entail, but one would imagine fashion would have more than a little bit to do with it. Then again, it's CBS, so who even knows?
