To the surprise of no one -- based on an anecdote from E! News host Giuliana Rancic -- Russell Crowe is not a nice or fun guy to interview.

Rancic was on Watch What Happens Live when she was asked about her most awkward interview ever.

In a not very shocking reply, Rancic answered Russell Crowe, who she was intent on being super nice to because she had heard he could be a little tough.

The exchange went a little something like this...

RANIC: So are you excited to be here tonight? Your big movie premiere?
CROWE: I'm contractually obligated to be here. What's your next question?
RANCIC: Um, you know isn't it so wonderful seeing all the fans?
CROWE: That's your second question? One, two, you're through.

At which point he promptly walked away. Ouch!
