Rupert Grint Watched Shia LaBeouf Drop Acid + Get Naked

Back when they were working on The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman together, Ruper Grint watched Shia LaBeouf drop acid, wreck the set and talk about owls.

We know Shia, we're still not over the death of Hedwig either.

"He smashed the place up, got naked and kept seeing this owl," Ron Weasley recalled of the incident to The Guardian.

As he joked to the newspaper, "If anything will make you not do drugs, it's watching that."

LaBeouf claimed he took the drug to relate more to his character, but as the film's director explained, in order for that to happen he should have taken ecstasy.

"In the script, it's Carpathian ecstasy, a special hostel ecstasy that exists in maybe just Bucharest," Fredrik Bond said of the drug of choice in the script. "I didn't know he went out and said that ... It was always ecstasy."
