RuPaul's Drag Race 3 - Queens in Space - Recap
Sci-Fi Drag on RuPaul's Drag Race. My worlds are converging! So awesome.
Mimi Imfurst continues to annoy everyone in the room -- but I like her.
The queens were split into two groups to create a sci-fi trailer for draq queens in space. No one picked Mimi, and she ended up with Team Mariah by default. It turned out to be good for Team Mariah since Mimi is an actress -- a ham actress, but still an actress.
Team Mariah won the challenge easily and everyone on the team were safe from elimination. Shangela and Alexis were chosen for best performance -- and they won some fake boobs from boobsforqueens.com. LOL! What a prize. They unfortunately don't get immunity in the next challenge. The other team, headed by Phoenix - Team Phoenix - were in the bottom, except for Raja who had immunity.
Phoenix with her uninspired acting performance and Delta Work with her off the mark runway look had to lipsync for their lives.
Results:
Delta Work - shante you stay!
Phoenix - sashay away!
Oh the irony! Wasn't it last week that Phoenix told off Stacy Lane Matthews (one of the plus sized queens) that she didn't consider her "competition"? Well, Phoenix just got kicked to the curb.
Over at Untucked, Shangela and Mimi Imfurst throw cocktails at each other in the interior illusions lounge after Mimi accused Shangela of having a sugar daddy. Hahahahaha. Shangela went ballistic. Well, she has new boobs now, so she may (or may not) need that sugar daddy.
I love this show! I learn new things every week. Like how some drag queens look down on "tranny" queens -- those queens who've had some work done (surgery, etc.) to make them look more like a women even before they put on the drag.
